CHATHAM LOCK GATE DRIVE SYSTEM

Chatham docks, a historic dockyard which brings an estimated £258m of business to the local area is unable to operate due to the failure of one of their lock gate drive systems. Ongoing system issues even prior to failure mean that a complete rethink is needed... That's where Halex Engineering Ltd came in.

SALFORD UNIVERSITY RING MAIN

University of Salford was constructing a new building for its civil
Engineering department. This required the implementation of a new
hydraulic ring main to operate systems within the building. Our client,
who was providing the hardware for this system, contacted Halex
Engineering Ltd to design, manufacture and commission a bespoke control system.

EXCAVATOR PILING RIG CONVERSION

GeMech, a company renowned in the construction industry for its ground improvement and piling solutions was looking for a partner with the required skill set to modify a standard excavator for use in vibropiling activities. This project included mechanical design as well as hydraulic and electrical integration into the excavators existing system architecture.
